Nigeria beat Libya 4-0 in 2019 AFCON Qualifier to Move Up to Second Place

• Super Eagles moved to second place on the log in Group E with six points just 2 point behind South Africa.

Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday, October 13, defeated Libya 4-0 in their third game in Group E of the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Nigerian No. 9 sticker Odion Ighalo scored a hat-trick for the Super Eagles which Samuel Kalu netted the fourth goal for the former African African champions.

Nigeria are now occupying second position in Group E following their win over Libya as South Africa stay top of the Group after their 6-0 win over Seychelles.
