BREAKING: Atiku picks Peter Obi as running mate

The former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has been named as the running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

Peter Obi became the preferred choice of both the party and the candidate after numerous consultations by stakeholders in the party

It was also gathered that the name of Obi and that of Atiku will be sent to INEC in the coming week.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce also congratulated Mr.Obi on his selection as running mate Atiku.

Murray-Bruce twitted: “Congrats my friend and brother, Mr. Peter Obi on your selection as vice presidential candidate to H.E @atiku. Without doubt, this is a solid team that will lift Nigeria to her rightly place amongst the assembly of nations.”
