Atiku Emerges As PDP Presidential Candidate

        

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election  to emerge as the presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential election.

In the election conducted on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Port Harcourt, Atiku defeated Eleven other candidate in the party by wining 1,532 votes. He is expected to tip to be a stiff competitor to President Muhammadu Buhari who emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presidential candidate.
