Luka Modric was named Best Fifa Men's Footballer of the Year at the ceremony held in London, beating the likes of Mohamed Salah and former team mate Cristiano Ronaldo to the top prize.

Ronaldo won the award for the last two years, but Modric's dominance in the 2017/18 season was deemed to have surpassed the Portuguese.
