APC Reschedules Governorship Primary Election - See New Date
The All progressives Congress (APC) on
Thursday, September 27, announced the rescheduling of its governorship primary
election. A statement by the spokesperson for the party, Yekini Nabena said the
party's National Working Committee rescheduled the governorship primaries to
Sunday being 30th September, 2018.
He also said that the Senate primaries will
take place on Tuesday, October 2; the House of Representatives election will
take place on Wednesday, October 3; the States' House of Assembly primaries will
take place on Thursday, October 4, while the presidential/national convention
will hold on Saturday, October 6, 2018.
The primaries for the governorship elections
was earlier scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 29, in the 36 states
and the FCT.
